I frolicked in the forest when I met a deer who adorned me with a beautiful rack of antlers. We gamboled through the endless trees, nibbling mushrooms and eating fallen pinecones laden with magic.

I bestowed him a warm marbled coat and sleek auburn horns and we danced together in triumph and gratitude.

In the circle of magical mushrooms where curious water flows endlessly, I became a dove while he, a raven. We circled each other, white and black feathers fluttering as the other deer lay in the shafts of sunlight, watching us with sleepy, soulful eyes.

We hailed each other in the graveyard ruins, playing kings and loyal subjects. He taught Friend. by ~0okami-Rei
The RutThis was Kurami’s first Rut, he was nervous. With a serious lack of knowledge or natural instinct, he didn’t know what to expect at all, and only a simple thought lingered in his mind, females.
A short stroll through the aged tree’s and Kurami soon found a small herd of females. But he didn’t dare approach the doe’s for there was already a stag amongst them, a stag of intimidating size. “Better to stay in the shelter of the foliage for a while”. Before attempting anything, Kurami wanted to see what the Rut was really all about. Aside from the thought of females, Kurami didn’t have a clue as to what was expected of him during the Rut.
Kurami’s thoughts were suddenly broken by a sudden clash of antlers in the direction of the females. A different male, a rival had dared to challenge the large stag that already had the doe’s. A New Legacy chapter 44
Nothing is Impossible
The sanctuary disappeared into thin air as Lady passed through barrier.  It had been a few months since Lady began her training.  It seemed tha very little had changed.  Once again she spotted Herla and Gehirn curled up together inside the giant oak.  Lady knew she shouldn’t eavesdrop, but she couldn’t help being within listening distance.
“Isn’t it wonderful? One more month and we will become parents.” She nuzzled the giant buck’s face.  It was strange not to see the lively vivacious doe dancing around her mate, but if she was that far into her pregnancy she had to be careful.
“I can’t wait,” replied Gehirn as he nuzzled Herla’s face, “The twins will be beautiful.”

The Untold Story
Bright shafts of moonlight flooded through the forest canopy.  Fireflies danced above the patches of hyacinths and crickets chirped loudly.  The occasional coyote howl drifted through the wood as bats chattered and owls hooted.
It was on nights exactly like this that Lady loved to dance.  Now that she could walk on only two legs, her dancing was even more marvelous.  She was careful not to leave the sacred grounds of the sanctuary, no matter how badly she missed the herd.  Lady danced in the courtyard in the middle of the sanctuary, chanting a little song.  She twirled and leaped playfully in time with the rhythmic chirping of a nearby cricket.  Lady loved the mysterious beauty of the night’s darkness, even though she was born of light.  Her gaze lifted to a break in the canopy where she saw something amazing: The flickering lights of the aurora borealis.  She had never seen anything like it before, but somehow knewA New Legacy Chapter 3 The Untold Story by ~crownvetchponylover9
